Need a Working Smoke Alarm?

The South Spartanburg Fire District is committed to helping keep you and your family safe in case of fire. If you’re a homeowner without a working smoke alarm, you can request a free installation by filling out our smoke alarm request form. After you submit the form, a firefighter from South Spartanburg Fire District will come to your home and install the smoke alarm(s) at no charge.

Please note that South Carolina law requires landlords to provide smoke alarms for rental properties, so tenants should contact their landlords for installations.
