Firefighters Attend Swift Water Rescue Training

Recently, two members of the SSFD team participated in the Swift Water One class at the National White Water Center. This training program focuses on techniques for mitigating various types of rescue situations in moving water. Throughout the two-day class, students learned and practiced a range of skills through hands-on scenarios designed to test their knowledge and abilities in real-world contexts. This experience provided valuable practical training essential for effective water rescue operations.
