South Spartanburg Fire along with members of the American Red Cross and CERT hosted a smoke alarm blitz in the Arkwright community last week. Team members went door -to- door to install new smoke alarms and checked existing alarms for residents. They discussed the importance of having a fire escape plan ( two ways out) and how to practice those plans with your families. If we missed you, you had a door hanger like the one pictured below. Please call the number to setup a time for us to visit with you for a smoke alarm install and check. If you would like more information on smoke alarms, fire safety, or fire escape plans please visit the community resources tab on our website. https://ssfire.org/community-resources
Thank you to all the volunteers that helped make this event a success!!!
