The South Spartanburg Fire District has been awarded a grant of $15,000 from the Duke Energy Foundation’s Helping Emergency Response Organizations (H.E.R.O.) program. This funding will be utilized to acquire emergency radio communication equipment.
The H.E.R.O. program, launched by the Duke Energy Foundation, aims to improve natural disaster preparedness, response, and resilience for organizations involved in emergency preparedness across the region.
