The Arkwright community station, or “Station 24,” as it is known by the firefighters, was built in 2000. This station is the centrally located station within the fire district, which allows all on-duty fire companies to conduct high-quality training sessions together on a daily basis. Station 24 houses a Ladder company in addition to an apparatus fleet of a Brush Truck, a Haz-Mat Engine, and a reserve Ladder Truck.
