Welcome to the South Spartanburg Fire District. On behalf of our firefighters, officers, administrative staff, and Board of Fire Control, thank you for taking the time to learn more about our organization.

It is an honor to serve as Fire Chief and to lead a team of dedicated professionals committed to protecting the citizens, businesses, and visitors of South Spartanburg. Our district is built upon a proud history of service, strong community relationships, and a continued commitment to meeting the changing needs of those we serve.

The mission of the South Spartanburg Fire District is to protect, serve, and educate our community through professional emergency response, prevention, preparedness, and public outreach.

Every member of the South Spartanburg Fire District plays an important role in fulfilling that mission. Whether responding to a fire, medical emergency, motor vehicle collision, hazardous materials incident, or community request for assistance, our personnel are expected to serve with professionalism, compassion, integrity, and respect.

We remain committed to providing our members with the training, equipment, leadership, and resources necessary to perform safely and effectively. We also recognize that strong emergency services begin long before an incident occurs. Fire prevention, public education, community risk reduction, and emergency preparedness remain essential parts of our responsibility.

The South Spartanburg Fire District belongs to the community we serve. We understand that the public places tremendous trust in us, and we are committed to earning that trust every day.
